Xcom, on April 21 - is making changes to terms of their online service. In the future - near or far - what is the liklihood of Xcom closing deposits to checking accounts made with credit cards? Thanks in advance for any intelligent comments and opinions.
RE: Xcom & Deposits Using Until recently the banking industry has been known to be notoriously conservative in their ways and thinking. Even most of the initial online banks were mere appendages of their 'brick and mortar' parents with some frills thrown in. That is, until X.Com came on the scene and turned the industry on its head. Not only in its innovative and new means of banking but also in its constant policy changes. So yes, the answer is X.Com will do it in a heartbeat, if they choose.
RE: Xcom & Deposits Using They probably will change the policy. I imagine banks are not happy with that feature and certainly the reward cards are not making any profit with this setup. I for one will continue to make my deposits this way as long as they allow it. It is a great way to EARN mileage. http://www.creditsense.com
