   I read it is more easy to get Credit cards during Xmas season,because they hope you will Charge up. Any one know if this is true. I did get 6 cards during 9/01 -12/02

   Actually - I heard the same thing a few months ago - they may be a bit more flexable a few months before Xmas.
   in any case - I'd wait til October to try out the theory.
