Just checked and my scores all went up. EXP up 72 points, TU up 75, EQ up only 15. Trying to figure out what's different on EQ. Making progress. I'm so excited! Also, one of my credit cards agreed to reopen an old account (same acct number and open date) AND they upped the credit limit by 2.5k. That should bump my score more, shouldn't it? I'm kinda new at this, so I don't really know.
Was the re-opened account closed by credit grantor? I've been making payments on an old closed cc account, & have one left. I've been thinking of asking them to re-open, but I'm chicken.... bwock! bwock!
I don't know . . . I went into debt management program, and it was closed as a condition of that. FWIW, two of the three I had have agreed to consider reopening the orig. acct. I figured it was worth a try because they were such old accounts.
