I sure hope everyone is using PFB.
In the last 3 months they have helped me get my Cap1 interest rate lowered from 14.9% to 9.9%, a $500 "goodwill adjustment" towards my principal balance when my FHA re-fi took too long and a partial credit on a car rental charge. (The last one was really due to my ignorance, but Enterprise gave me the credit anyway.)
Needless to say, I'm thrilled. Now if I could only get them to do something about Experian.......

I'm glad it worked for you.

But I'm going to add my experience here so people can get another perspective.

I wrote Cap One a PFB letter on April 2 ... no reply.
Wrote again on April 18 ... no reply.
    And again today.

Maybe they cannot help me with my request (remove old lates) but I think the least they should do is reply saying they cannot do anything about it.

I have not been impressed with PFB. I can get ignored through the regular mail.

    peace,
    delilah

I'll agree with the negative POV...no response to the one I sent close to 3 weeks ago. I'm going to try another one but I'm not holding my breath.

When you have hundreds of people sending Capitol One letters via PFB things get backed up. As far as I can tell only two people are currently responding to PFB letters to Cap one. Amanda Mays, and Eugene Cooke. They are only two people folks, things take time. I sent a PFB about 2 weeks ago and havnt heard anything yet. However a few months ago I sent a PFB and heard back the next day...It just varies I suppose. However a month is excessive...

Me too...Bank One answered the next day, but Cap One/Chase/Citibiz/Lowes all haven't replied yet. I might need to call platinum's published reputable chase number lol.

Sent a PFB to Cap 1 re: old lates 2nd week of April--heard nothing. Sent another one the first week of May and got a form letter back stating Cap 1 had rec'd my request and they are dedicated to providing fast/accurate responses to emails and make an effort to answer within one business day; however, depending on the complexity it may take additonal time.

Haven't heard anything else since. Oh well, mortgage guy is pulling the reports this week, so I don't imagine it's coming off in time, lol!
