last night after reading the Target Guest card thread(s) I decided to apply. I tried checking the status all day off and on and it kept giving me an error. Well I just checked it now and THEY APPROVED ME ! So for gloating but I can't help it! It says my limit is only $200 but that's a start ! Just wanted to share. Thanks to everyone who contributed in those threads, it really gave me the courage to apply!

Anxiously awaits his card in the mail.....

    Congrats,

I have had Target for two months and love it. The important thing is to generate positives every month. Feel good to see that "Your Apporved." I like hearing when people get new positive cards.

Thanks! I am so shocked I got approved ! ! ! Im not sure what report they pulled but from what I've read I think they mostly pull equifax ? I could be wrong about that so dont quote me. My equifax fico score was 701 when I pulled it on the third. My credit history is only around 10 1/2 months old, have seven hard inquires on my report that myfico shows, and only have one account listed- thats why im so suprised I got approved ! I printed off the page that showed my account # and limit, etc because it said to, in order to retain it for my records. Can't wait to see that card with my name on it ! The limit is only $200 but I don't care, thats a start and another account listed on my report(s) ! To answer your last question I am in Kentucky ....

Use it once or teice and they will raise your CL to $500. I use it every month $100-$150 and pay it in full. I have had it almost a year and am waiting for another CL inrease or upgrade to Visa.

Got the card today! That wasn't very long at all :) There is no activation sticker so I guess they activate it the first time it's used. Attached it said "Be ready to present picture ID at the time you first use the card." So how are they with limit increases ? Are they like Cap. One and other places and only grant them every 6 months, or ? Thanks!

    WHAT??????????

    LIMIT INCREASE???????????

    HAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!!!!

Get this~~~you wait till the card expires and you can decrease the interest rate for the second time...the credit limit will be increased WHEN THEY WANT TO!!! They said they do it automatically...NOBODY here has got an "AUTOMATIC"...

I DID GET A $500 "JOKE" INCREASE (before they came up with their "AUTOMATIC" deal)...but I guess it is better than everybody elses $0.00...

Call NOW for an interest rate DECREASE...unless you got 9.90%...(the bottom).

When you do the request an increase via the automated system, they will let you know if you can get an increase. They go by your experian report.
