If all my scores are all over 700, which company should I try for first. I have no or little inquiries due to "B" and no derogs, but I do have one or two 30 days lates. Any input would help. Thank you.
those lates will still haunt you. Many prime cards consider "prime" including absolutely flawless credit history. Some even go as far as requiring a good bit of positive history (flawless). Seems the belts are tightening up lately with all these super low APR cards and BT's they are making the requirements higher.
The lates would hurt you if you're thinking about a company like American Express... they want absolutely no lates for their best cards. Companies like Citi, or Chase might overlook one or two 30-day lates as long as they're not recent.
No the lates are not recent, they are from two years ago. By the way I got two pre-appoval offers, one from fleet and one from amex blue. I am very tempted to pull the trigger.
watch fleet write these words down put them away then pull them out 2 years later when you've been screwed ......WATCH FLEET..... I have 7.99 fixed with them but all their offers are a dangerous game watch bt offers real close ...you will love amex blue...
Re: Re: Yes!!!!!!!! Ready for prime cards What is consider recent, interms of lates, 9mos, 12mo, ...????
Re: Re: Re: Yes!!!!!!!! Ready for prime cards If a collection agency updates and outstanding account recently, that considered a rececnt late too??
