Re: Donating to CAMCO: I don't mean to poop on anyones party but I'll tell ya what. If you give these people [more] free money it will be perceived as weakness. They will laugh at you for being an "idiot". And don't worry. They will be along soon to tell you how wrong and selfish I am. They have been terrorist's in the past. They were terrorist's on the day they were fired, and they're terrorist's today. Sustain them today and they'll be right back collecting, in exactly the same fashion as they always have, tomorrow. As terrorist's they don't need to be supported but rather defeated. As in driven from the industry, ONCE AND FOR ALL, so they can go get a real job, with a real company. I'm not coming from an uncharitable spirit. I feel badly for them and their kids. Every damn one of them knew EXACTLY what was going on at CAMCO. Half of em belong in jail!!! But when it comes to people like this, the best way to help them UP, is to help them DOWN. Or at the very least; stay out of Gods way while he tries to get their attention! (But yes, if you decide to donate you CAN trust Pic) .
I admittedly haven't read Pic's specific posts. I was speachless and couldn't read. I thought they were looking for donations to the CAMCO people in general. But if Pic has a certain person in mind, then, as I said, he can be trusted. I shall, however, limit my donation to some free advice. Get a job OUTSIDE the collection industry.
Or to the Rockford Salvation Army..... the collectors certainly could use some salvation, and if they don't find another job they would be needing the Salvation Army (both the soup kitchens and the residences).
