Experian won't use my proof...

I'm certain we're all familiar with Experian's online dispute process; once it's been disputed and validated, you cannot dispute it again without sending proof.

EX is seriously misreporting an account that they refuse to delete, so I requested a signed letter of proof regarding the specific account details from the creditor and sent it to EX.

Now EX says "sorry, we can't use your info, we will reinvestigate which will take up to 30 days...".

They sent this over 30 days after my dispute...now what?

ALTHOUGH I'VE NOT DEALT WITH EXPERIAN EXTENSIVELY, I WOULD WAIT FOR THE INVESTIGATION RESULTS AND SEE IF THE ACCOUNT WAS UPDATED TO MY SATISFACTION. IF NOT...SEND A NICELY WORDED LETTER TO

I HAD AN AN ACCOUNT THAT WAS VERIFIED TWICE, SO I SENT A NICELY WORDED LETTER TO HER. IT WAS REMOVED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE RECEIVED DATE ON THE GREEN CARD. HOPE SHE CAN HELP YOU. SHE SENT ME A LETTER APOLOGIZING FOR ANY INCONVIENCE I MAY HAVE EXPERIENCED, ALSO.

See what happens in the 30 days. Just because "we" send them a letter doesn't (to them) mean its legitimate. Of couse WE know it is legitimate - but they have the right to check out that information to make sure.

My personal feelings are that they should check something like that out RIGHT away with a telephone call rather than take 30 days...
