Ok, I've not hidden the fact that I have never sued, and it really scares me (please don't tell the CRAs!)

Anyway, I had been going round and round with CSC about an illegal reinsertion. The last letter I received from them said they were staying on because they had been "automatically reported".

So, I wrote them a letter 10/22 thanking them for burying themselves by admitting they didn't follow reinsertion guidelines. I also asked them to insert the following less than 100 word statement in my file until "such time as I chose to litigate the matter".

"CSC has reinserted disputed information in violation of the FCRA. They have admitted that this information was re-reported in an automatic fashion in violation of 611(B)(i), they failed to provide me with notification in violation of 611(B)(ii-iii), and the continue to violate these acts. Further CSC is also in violation of Sec. 20.06(e-f) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code."

Anyways, I got a letter today "after further investigation", they were deleting the accounts in question. They never inserted my consumer statement.

Tee hee hee, another bites the dust, and I'm still out of court.

Where does it say in the law that incorrect information can't be reported unless it's done automatically ?

If a credit bureau didn't insert your consumer statement, then you have them on a FCRA violation. They must insert your statement ;)

Ask for $500 for fees you have paid while about to litigate. The worst they'll say is no.

In the middle of Lake Tawakoni must be where the property they are trying to collect taxes on from the Fl poster is located.
