I seem to be at the end of my credit odyssey. I have two derogs remaining, both on open accounts with historical late pays. Both verified at least twice. Goodwill letter failed, as MBNA calimed that they can only make deletions due to bank error, and that was not the reason I gave. My question is whether Lexington or Junum can do anything new that I already tried...I assume they have some value since their services ar advertised on this site. Anyone have any experience? I am desperate to get these accounts off. If anyone has a better idea, please help!

Thanks -- this site is great, and has proven very effective with respect to my other derogs, which all came off.

They can't do anything for you that you can't do for yourself. It is not worth the money. Dispute around the holidays.

I have no idea how a goodwill letter works with MBNA but I called them and asked to have late pays removed, they transfered me to someone else to help. She stated she will only remove one, maybe two late pays. Since I have five (all 30 days, nothing longer) she will do nothing for me, except lower my rate to prime plus 2.9 percent. I didn't ask for a lower rate. I still have the lates showing on this account. I'll try and wait for the holidays and dispute it.

Also, maybe it can be disputed in a different manner. They do not have records dating back very far. They asked ME the dates as they only bave details for 6 months and a "note" that it was late five times in the history of the account. (All my lates are almost three years old now)
