Ive seen in several forums where people swear that it seems since starting on cleaning there CR that old debt collectors seem to be popping up. The truth is they are. There being notified by the CRAs that your CR is being worked on. The mystery is solved.,,, unless someone else has allready solved it lol.
Nothing new here guy's. The CA's can subscribe to a service with the CRA's that will alert them whenever your file is being "worked on".
I have a letter from a CA saying: "Equifax Credit Information Services Credit Reporting Division {now there's a mouthful} has notified that an inquiry has been made on your credit report. If you have applied for credit or employment that would require a credit investigation, now is the time to improve your credit report." Fortunately, this was on me pulling my credit report. They wait till they think they got you in a corner and then break out the thumbscrews.
