Let me square this away once and for all....
Fist things first,,,, Lexington does get SOME deletions, however they dont get the tough ones, eg: (identity fraud, tax liens). They do ask for power of atty. so that they can send out letters on your behalf. What they dont tell ya is that they send what amounts to little more than a nutcase letter with some childish insults thrown in at the reporting company. Why does it work. because half the time the accounts being disputed are old old old,. and the OC has the app stuffed in a box somewhere in their archives, and it would cost more to pay someone overtime to go dig it out, then it would to write it off as a tax loss, and delete the damn thing . A very very high percent of creditors will do a 1 time goodwill adjustment/ deletion.. Even the most stubborn banks will at some point, Now on to your client advocate, he/she is nothing more than a simple paralegal. This is a 6 month course at any community college. There are only 2 actual attorneys employed by lexington, 1 being the infamous Victor Lawrence, the other being the owner (the name eludes me). Now as for the letters, they are not actually even sent out by your client advocate. They are sent out by a "dispute team" a team of clerks who get the report off the dispute valet from your paralegal (client advocate) and fill in some blanks. EG: name, acct number, date.. etc. your advocate does not even dsee the letters. merly tells the clerk which form to use. In closing remember this, Lexington does get deletions but i gauruntee that you could get the EXACT same results on your own. and actually probably save your sanity in the process. why? because your results will come quicker and faster if you use the correct tools. CRRM and a fax machine, Also remember Lexington is NOT a non profit organization. so they will tell you things to get your money. that is their business to have you pay for them to dispute credit report info. They are not doing things for any sort of Altruistic reasons they are doing it because you are paying for it. Do they work yes to a point.. would i recomend it to you. no do it yourself, if you can read this you can surely cut copy and paste letters from the letter forum. And you can certainly afford postage if you can pay the 75 dollar retainer plus 40 a month. As for time, you will save more time doing it yourself, by the time you wait out the disputes and results you could have sent it yourself in some sort of free time. I have tried em. they got the same deltions i got on a diff report, and missed on the same ones i missedo n in the smae reports. so there is your bottom line on lexington. Use it wisely Im not some salty customer, i had a legit identity fraud, they helped a bit and just wanted to once and for all clear speak my peace on it.

    Peace Out...
