Hey, I saw some posts about the law offices of Jack Schrold as a competitor of Lexington Law firm, so I tried to give them a call down in Florida, nada...Also his website is not found anywhere...Is he out of business or am I just looking in the wrong places? curiously Hduty
Yesterday (May 6), Jack Schrold quit his firm due to serious illness. Existing customers will still be serviced via CreditIntake.com. As you probably know, Jack was the granddaddy of credit repair firms and established a model which others later adopted and refined. Doc
Disputer, the FTC was after Jack practically from his first day at credit repair. It was the CRA lobby's influence against Jack (he was the only legitimate ballgame around for several years) that resulted in the CROA. Basically they tried to put him out of business; they thought that the "don't collect money beforehand" stipulation would nail his coffin, but it never did. Regardless, they kept after him for many years; the link you provided is one such action from 1999. Doc
The website is www.wehelpcredit.com. I used this service. Before everyone screams "you can do it yourself!" Yes, you can probably better than they can. I didn't have the time to devote to both mine and my DH's reports. We had a new baby, work, etc. Schrold was responsible for all 4 of the bk deletions on our reports. He had at least 6-7 deletions of items that have still not been deleted on any of our reports since then. They don't perform magic. I doubt that the new ownership will affect their outcomes much. It is not for everyone, but he did a great job for us. When I was ready to jump back in, I did with no problems from them. I would recommend them over Lexington (I used them before Schrold and was not pleased at all.)
Yeppers. Doc, don't ya feel sooo much better now that our illustrious, crime fighting FTC is hot on the case? Buwahahahahaa!

When they went to such lengths as this to protect their operation and cover up the FICO shell game and the credit reporting con job it ought to tell you something folks! THE END ** *** ** LB 59
