    • Few days ago I applied for the Blue Cash online (with no pre-approved offer). They pulled from EQ. Got an email to call them back, which I just did. After confirming my address with my bank (I've been living here for 6 months only) Omar said I should receive my new $5,000 Blue Cash in few days!

When applying, I requested also a BT of $10,000. Omar said that since the LOC doesn't cover the BT amount, when I get the card I have to call them and request a CLI.

FYI: 5.5 years credit history, EX [676], EQ [669], TU [686], 72% utilization, no derogs.

      Will keep you posted.

P.S. jlynn, do you now see how loving someone in the a.m. makes your whole day ... :)

    the blue cash is nifty.

Unlike the new blue business and regular blue, if you tilt the blue cash at an angle its got a blue haze to it, which the other blue's didn't seem to have.

heck we have an ancient blue business thats white (not transparent) lol.

compare your blue to the blue cash at an angle and you'll see what i mean ;)

    • Guess what I'm holding in my hands ...

A beautiful transparent piece of plastic with a blue square in the middle, worth of $5,000.

Intro APR of 0% for the first 6 months.
Fixed APR of 7.99% for the life of balance.

FYI: 5.6 years credit history, EX [676], EQ [655], TU [686], 75% utilization, no derogs.

    Congrats!

Are you gonna call to see if they'll give you a bigger CL?

    • Already tried to get a CLI regarding to a BT, but they said my declared yearly income is lower than my total credit line. This is so sad ... since I'm actually unemployed ... :)

Tried also to get a lower APR, but they said this is the current lowest one.

vghost, congrats on your Blue. I should be getting mine sometime next week along with the Amex Green.

I'm going to try to get a CL boost and a lower APR, but pretty much happy with a $11,000 CL and no so low 12.99%. (includes BT)

    Best regards,
    Mirage

    75% utilization???!!!

Maybe I'm moving in the wrong direction, down to 14% and pushing for 9% by year's end...

Yeah, I'll just charge that new SUV and then get approved for blue...

    • Nope, you are moving in the right direction. I wish I had 14% utilization ... I don't even know how I got approved for the Blue at all.

I'm still waiting for my Blue Cash to show up...

got it approved the other day, 5.3 year credit history, oldest open credit card is 19 mos, second is 12 mos, no inquiry on file when I applied due to bumpage.

FICO was 778 right before I pulled.

I still have not recovered from my $30,000+ payment on credit cards...

My high F.I.C.O. was 739...I owe TONS less now than when I had 739!!!

I DROPPED AS LOW AS 665!!!
