This is great...DH has a Kay Jewelers card. We bought a ring and paid it off in 2 months. Today, took a necklace for repairs and charged $43 on his card. No unusual questions were asked or anything to make the charge seem different than any other charge. Checked his PG and Sterling pulled a hard inquiry today? Sterling is Kay, right? WHAT? WHY? Stinks, huh?
Sterling is Kay's. Gotta watch them--they lost one of my payments. After countless calls and faxes from my bank they finally agreed it was their fault and removed fees and penalties. I had the card since '96 and after the way they handled this it was promptly closed. But my favorite jeweler is at Kays so i'll still visit her to buy the goods.
Thanks, I will watch them... Anyone have ideas as to how to deal with this? If anything, it should have been an AR..not a hard.. Maybe I'll PFB, they do respond to that...
Sterling is Kay? I had no idea lol! I bought my wedding rings at Kays for a little over 3K and paid them off in 6 months, they ended up closing that credit line because of inactivity I would have bought a mothers day ring once a year had I have known hehehe
